The QA Analyst is responsible for actively participating in the software development and testing activities as a member of the AccessPay development team, working on one or more of AccessPay software solutions. They will be detailed focus and meticulous in their approach. They can navigate between development and product story definitions, ensuring that acceptance criteria are met through well executed test plans, reporting and QA facilitation. A solid grasp on QA fundamentals, security principles and weel versed in both function and non-functional QA testing products (JMeter, Postman, BrowserStack)
The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring tests are adheing to best practice and oversight is applied to the development team so that code does not proceed between environments where an issue is identified. Working with QA Manager to Improve existing process and contribute to the overall AccessPay SLDC.
Duties and Responsibilites:
- To test new and current functionality
- Write and review defects raised
- Manual and automated Testing
- Write acceptance tests against user stories
- Write test plans and test scripts
- Perform regression tests for releases
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery
- Work with any automated tool deemed appropriate to enhance functional and non-functional testing
- Keep the QA manager and other team members up to date with the progress of testing.
