Job Description:

  • Responsibility to ensure the effective implementation of CMAM community outreach activities in the field.

  • Develop micro plan of community outreach activities and submit on monthly basis.

  • Community sensitization on the program objectives and methods to stimulate & eventually promote the understanding and participation of the target population. Community sensitization starts at village- and Community-leader levels and eventually extends to the entire population. 

  • Establishment of community outreach setup at each union council through selection of community volunteers and health workers.

  • Community mobilization and beneficiary screening, provision of MM Supplementation and follow up.

  • Establishment of strong referral mechanism between community to health facility OTP/CMAMI site and follow up. 

  • Establishment of nutrition community support groups (MTMSG, FTFSG, and CVG) at each union council in consultation with the community. 

  • Support to the Community  Health Worker (CHW) and Volunteers  during screening (active case finding) and linking up the MTMSG , FTFSGs with the LHW program

  • Provide technical support to CHW on mobilization, active case finding, defaulter tracing and home follow up visits through follow up trainings and on job coaching and supportive supervision

  • Ensure community social behavior change communication health and awareness session/campaign on regular basis through CHW/support groups.

  • Establish linked and meetings with the Community leaders and different group existing in the working area.

  • To carry out the planning and supervise and proper execution of construction activities

  • Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor for repair and maintenance work at 13 OTP and one NSC site

  • Ensure repair work run smoothly and structures completed within budget and on time

  • Manage repair and maintenance work in all sites.

  • Submit report to supervisor regarding repair and maintenance work on sites

  • Any other task assign by supervisor

Prepare capacity building training and SBCC activities plan for community stakeholders and CHW/Support groups. Conduct  on job coaching

Ensure provision of supplies/basic equipment’s of each Nutrition site in the field.

Parameters of success



  • Ensure effective implementation of community outreach activities 

  • Ensure effective MM supplementation to all children 6 to 23 months and PLW.

  • Elicit community involvement in case finding, referral, encouraging attendance and minimize defaulters. Follow-up issues related to low attendance rate/defaulters, and the underlying problem and propose an appropriate solution.

  • Seek and provide feedback on screening program implementation schedule and activities plan as appropriate to enhance coverage and maximize impact.

  • Ensure regular screening and referral of children and mothers at OTP/CMAMI sites, effective role of FTFSG/MTMSG on community SBCC activities and early detection.

  • Prepare capacity building training plan and facilitation in the training with Nutrition officer


·         Advance Technical qualification/diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or Civil Engineering or related discipline


·         Minimum 01 year of overall experience in relevant field in development sector.


·         Ability to speak local Language (Pashto) is mandatory along with other languages Urdu & English


·         Significant experience Nutrition projects in Pakistan & a plus if had worked in the KP.


·         Good written and verbal communication in English;


·         Computer literate, knowledge of MS Word and Excel required


Willingness to travel frequently
