| Job Description: |
Under the supervision of Manager Accounts & Tax responsible for managing and handling all accounting operations within the Company, verify financial records and transactions, and monitor the accounting team. Keep attention to detail and maintain account balances, financial statements, general ledger, and all reports.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the HOD in maintaining and overseeing all accounting procedures and process.
- In the absence of HOD responsible for the whole operations of Accounts Department.
- Achieves accounting operational objectives by assisting the HOD in accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
- Prepare financial statements and analysis for whole of the company including other branches
- Prepares assets, liabilities and capital accounts entries by compiling and analyzing accounts information.
- Prepare Directors Expenses Reports Monthly basis for review of HOD and the Management.
- Cash flow report monthly basis.
- Prepared stock report monthly basis responsible to maintain the detail of Company inflow and outflow.
- Play important role in establishing Company chart of accounts.
- Responsible for processing of financial transactions including journals, accounts payable / receivables.
- Participates in ascertaining and evaluating the financial projection and financial progress reports for the agency.
- Assist the HOD in the developing daily, monthly and annual statutory financial statements and operating reports.
- Ensure that the general ledgers are established, maintained and reconcile properly by the Officers.
- Responsible for the compliance of all transactions with organizational requirements and protocols.
- Transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting ERP system.
- Assist the HOD in the preparation of monthly financial statements and quarterly reports.
- Maintains of accounts book on daily basis with proper reconciliation of closing balances
- Fixed assets detail is updated of all branches for each addition of assets on the basis of disbursement or journal voucher.
- Responsible for maintaining Company balance sheet and income statements branch wise.
- Maintain the detail of all miscellaneous deductions and maintain their record.
- Assist the HOD in forecasting and planning according to fiscal needs.
- Responsible for managing and supervising of Monthly Provisions.
- Checking of all vouchers daily bases. (Accounts, Finance & General Store).
- Update trial balance review day to day in respect of trial difference.
- Responsible to maintain the detail of all Insurance Payments and Insurance matters.
- Responsible for managing the Institution Security reports.
- Maintain and update the HOD and Management regarding Bank s markup calculation.
- Responsible for the verification of Salary Sheet and forwarding the detail to the Finance Department for the funds release in view of employee’s salary.
- Prepared of Monthly Unpaid Salary Report and also checking of Monthly Salary Tax Report.
- Checking of Bank Reconciliation according to schedule.
- Prepared Leased Vehicles Payment Detail as Banks (Askari, Bank Al-Habib and JS Bank).
- Prepared Monthly and Quarterly Accounts of the Company (Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura branches).
· Maintain proper record of necessary month-end accruals and initial reviews of depreciation expenses.
- Coordinate with the Tax Department tax deducted and deposited principal and branches wise.
- Review the record keeping and day to day issues of the Department.
- Responsible to keep all confidential matters secret and protect the interest of the Company.
- Other suitable duties assigned as required or in line with the position competencies.
