Key Responsibilities

•  Execute manual testing for mobile applications (Android and iOS).
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans.
•  Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software testing life cycle.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
•  Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Ensure quality standards are met before app releases.
• Participate in review meetings and provide clear, detailed bug reports.

Requirements

• Experience:
• At least 1 year of experience in manual testing of mobile applications
• Experience in cross-platform (Android & iOS) testing is preferred.

Technical skills:

• Deep understanding of the software testing life-cycle (STLC) and bug life-cycle.
• Familiar with common testing types, such as functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing, etc.
• Proficient in using at least one defect management tool.
• Understand the basic features and differences between Android and iOS platforms.

Language requirements:

• Good English oral and writing skills
• Able to understand English technical documents and write English bug reports.

Personal qualities:

• Attention to details and rigorous logical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills to describe problems clearly.
• Initiative and sense of responsibility, able to work independently complete tasks.
• Possess good teamwork spirit.

Bonus   points:

• Understand automated testing and have experience with any automated testing tool (such as Appium, Selenium).
• Understand basic API testing (using tools such as Mail carrier).
• Experience with performance testing tools (such as JMeter) or security testing concepts.
• Familiar with agile development process (Scrum).
• Experience working in multinational teams or on technical outsourcing projects.
